Nutrition Goals Approximate
Protein 170-280 Grams
Fat 75 – 90 Grams
Carbohydrate 80 – 100 Grams
Calories    1700 - 2400

NOTE: Commercial tube feeding and supplementary formulas, which are not milk-based, are very low in residue and are suitable for this diet. They can be ordered to supplement the diet of nutritionally depleted patients without adding residue.
